Strategy
As a cooperative bank founded by farmers, Rabobank is rooted in society. We want to make a substantial contribution to solving the global food challenge: feeding a growing population long into the future.
In the UK, we deliver this through two overarching commercial strategies:
Banking for Food
We envision a food system that meets rising demand for affordable, nutritious food. One that respects producer livelihoods and the planet. We call it the Banking for Food Strategy.
Banking for Energy
As part of our mission, we want to actively support and accelerate the energy transition, and therefore shape a better world with our clients. As a result, we advise and finance companies that (can) make a significant contribution to the energy transition.
